Lyon's Milan Bisevac is out for the rest of the season after the defender ruptured his right anterior cruciate ligament in his side's 0-0 draw with Monaco.
The Serbian centre-back is reportedly out for six months and will undergo surgery on Thursday morning.
"Milan Bisevac has had an MRI [scan] that confirmed the rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. He will be operated on [on] Thursday morning," the club's official Twitter page said.
"The duration of the unavailability of Milan Bisevac is six months."
Bisevac came off after only 18 minutes against Monaco on Sunday and is unlikely to add to his 15 appearances for the club this season.
