Lyon coach Remi Garde has admitted that he is relieved with his side's win against Toulouse at home in Ligue 1.
Goals from Clement Grenier, Bakary Kone and Bafetimbi Gomis saw the former French champions register a 3-1 victory at Stade de Gerland.
"It is a relief and a satisfying feeling to get back to winning ways even if it is never easy against Toulouse," Garde told reporters. "It wasn't our best performance here at Gerland, but the team were rewarded for their efforts.
"It is never easy when you lose a lead in a game but I could feel at half time that the team were determined to win it. From that point of view it was very positive. We were disciplined when we didn't have the ball, and more direct going forward.
"We know that things can change very quickly in football. We will savour this victory, but we won't get carried away or say that anything is done. I am pleased with the three points and with the way the team has behaved all week."
Lyon are currently third in the league table with 56 points from 32 matches.
