Ligue 1 side Lyon have denied that coach Remi Garde's position is under threat, despite their poor start to the season.
Lyon currently sit 14th in the league and have lost two of their last three Ligue 1 encounters, but the club president's advisor Bernard Lacombe insists that Garde's job is safe.
"Oh no, [there is no threat of a sacking]," he told L'Equipe. "He said he is in danger because that is the case for all coaches who do not win.
"But everyone knows that this is not the case - we're all behind him. We knew that this period would be difficult because for three years we have lost a lot of players."
The club's president is Jean-Michel Aulas.
