Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed that he is '95% certain' Nabil Fekir will remain with the club until at least next year.

The France international saw a £60m move to Liverpool collapse during the early stages of the summer transfer window after undergoing a medical and agreeing personal terms.

Liverpool were not alone in showing an interest, though, as Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid have also been linked over the past few months.

With the transfer window now shut for English clubs until January, however, and other European sides only having two more weeks to conduct their business, Aulas cannot see Fekir departing the Groupama Stadium.

"We will have to wait until the end of the transfer window," he is quoted as saying by The Express. "But he will stay, 95%. We've seen the love of the fans for him. Lyon is a great city of football."

Liverpool are understood to have pulled the plug on a deal due to a long-standing knee problem being flagged in the attacking midfielder's medical.
