Lyon's Michel Bastos has signed a new contract with the French club that will keep him at the Stade Gerland until 2015.
Arsenal and Manchester United are both reportedly interested in signing the Brazilian international but have been put off by Lyon's asking price in the past.
The 28-year-old joined Les Gones from Lille in 2009 for a fee of around €18m (£15.5m).
Bastos, who can play at either left-back or left midfield, was also linked with a summer switch to Juventus.
Lyon have begun their Ligue 1 season solidly, currently sitting at the top of the table after winning five of their opening eight matches.
