Lyon defender Anthony Reveillere has insisted that he has no problem with coach Remi Garde and is open to extending his contract this summer.

Reveillere has spent nearly a decade at the Stade Gerland but fell out of favour with Garde earlier this year, losing his place in the starting XI for more than a month.

The former French international has admitted that he found being dropped difficult to take and remains undecided on his long-term future.

He told Ligue1.com: "Obviously I wasn't happy when he pulled me off at half-time against Toulouse last month, because I thought I was ready to play. I wasn't.

"I worked very hard over the last month to get back in the side because I wanted to finish the season in the team. I've been at this club for ten years and never asked for a favour or expected any special treatment.

"We spoke about a possible contract extension a couple of months back and said we'd chat at the end of the season. The only thing that matters in this industry is fighting for your survival every day and that all I'm focusing on at the moment."

The 33-year-old is expected to play a part this evening as Lyon look to secure a place in next season's Champions League with victory against Rennes.
