Malaga centre-back Weligton has urged the club to sell star player Isco in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old has impressed since his move from Valencia two years ago, leading to his first international cap for Spain in their 3–1 win over Uruguay in Doha in February.
He is believed to have caught the eye of a number of clubs across Europe, with Manchester City said to be leading the chase.
According to the Brazilian defender, Isco should now be allowed to leave La Rosaleda for a "greater" club.
"It is time for the club to sell Isco," Weligton told reporters. "At the moment Isco should be at a club greater than Malaga.
"For his talent and his age, I believe that it is time for him to make the leap. I hope the club do the right thing [in selling Isco]."
Isco scored eight goals in 34 La Liga starts last season.
