Erling Haaland will be looking to rediscover his prolific form in front of goal when Manchester City travel to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Norwegian is still the top scorer in the Premier League this season with 11 goals in just 10 games, but he has only found the net once in his last five top-flight appearances, failing to score in each of his last three away from home.
Haaland also drew a blank in front of goal on Tuesday when he missed a penalty in Man City's heavy 4-1 defeat against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League - their third defeat in a row across all competitions.
Nevertheless, Man City's No.9 is expected to start for Pep Guardiola's side against Brighton, and here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at his record against the Seagulls.

Since joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022, Erling Haaland has faced Brighton competitively three times, all in the Premier League, and has helped the Citizens come out on top on two occasions.
Haaland enjoyed his first top-flight encounter with the Seagulls in October 2022 as he scored a first-half brace in a 3-1 victory at the Etihad Stadium.
His first goal was assisted by a sensational pump forward from goalkeeper Ederson, before barging Adam Webster and easily rounding the oncoming Robert Sanchez to then roll the ball into an empty net, while his second was smashed into the net from the penalty spot.
Haaland was unable to score during 90 minutes in the reverse fixture seven months later - his first and only match at the Amex Stadium - as Man City were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton, although he did assist Phil Foden's opener that was soon cancelled out by the 2022-23 Premier League Goal of the Season fired in by Julio Enciso.
The following campaign, Haaland missed City's comfortable 4-0 away win over Brighton through injury, but he was on target in a 2-1 home victory in October 2023, driving at the Seagulls' defence before powering a left-footed shot from the edge of the area into the bottom corner.
Haaland has therefore directly contributed to at least one goal (either scoring or assisting) in all three of his appearances against Brighton, and he will hope to be heavily involved in the action on Saturday at the Amex as Man City endeavour to climb back to the top of the Premier League table.
