Phil Foden is in contention to start for Manchester City in Saturday's Premier League encounter with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The England international has endured a disrupted start to the 2024-25 campaign and last season's Premier League Player of the Year is yet to score in six top-flight matches.
Foden was also unable to find the net during a 58-minute appearance in a 2-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur in the last 16 of the EFL Cup on Wednesday, but he has chipped in with two goals and one assist across three Champions League games this term.
The 24-year-old will welcome this weekend's clash with Bournemouth, as he has had plenty of success against the Cherries in previous meetings, and here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at the midfielder's record against the South Coast club.

Phil Foden has faced Bournemouth competitively a total of six times, including five meetings in the Premier League and one in the EFL Cup, and Man City have come away victorious on all six occasions.
The versatile midfielder has recorded five goals and three assists for Pep Guardiola's side in his six games against the Cherries; only against Brighton & Hove Albion (nine - eight goals, one assist) has he directly been involved in more goals against a single opponent in his career.
Foden drew a blank in front of goal in his first-ever meeting with Bournemouth as a 20-year-old in July 2020 when Man City secured a 2-1 home win in the Premier League, but he has since scored and/or assisted in each of his last five encounters with the Cherries.
Man City's No.47 produced a man-of-the-match display in a 2-1 EFL Cup third-round win at home to Bournemouth in September 2020, setting up debutant Liam Delap before stabbing home a late winner.
In the 2022-23 campaign, Foden also scored one and assisted one in both home and away Premier League encounters with the Cherries, assisting City's second goal and then scoring their third in a 4-0 home win and a 4-1 away victory.
Foden has scored in each of his last four Premier League games against Bournemouth, including strikes in a thumping 6-1 home win and a narrow 1-0 away success during a standout 2023-24 season for the midfielder on a personal level.
