Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has emerged as a doubt for this weekend's Manchester derby.
During the second half of Monday's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, manager Manuel Pellegrini appeared ready to substitute the Belgian before he was allowed to finish the match.
However, Pellegrini has revealed that the 29-year-old is struggling with a hamstring injury, with a decision on his fitness being delayed until Saturday.
Pellegrini has also announced that striker Wilfried Bony will miss the Old Trafford fixture because of knee and ankle injuries.
