Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany could reportedly be out of action for one month with a thigh injury.
The 29-year-old did not finish last Sunday's Manchester derby as he was substituted by manager Manuel Pellegrini after the first half of the side's eventual 4-2 defeat at Old Trafford.
The defender is expected to undergo a scan today to learn the extent of the injury, but according to The Telegraph, there are fears that Kompany could be on the treatment table for three to four weeks.
City have dropped to fourth in the Premier League and now reside 12 points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
