Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has refused to rule captain Vincent Kompany out of tomorrow's trip to Sunderland in the Premier League.
The defender is currently struggling with the hamstring injury that he picked up during Sunday's 3-0 win at Southampton.
Kompany will undergo a scan later this afternoon before he is considered for the match at the Stadium of Light.
"With Kompany, we'll see tomorrow," Pellegrini told reporters. "We'll know this afternoon exactly what Vincent has. He has an injury to his hamstring - we'll see how long it'll be."
City are currently in second place in the Premier League table, six points behind leaders Chelsea.
