Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that he expects defender Vincent Kompany to miss at least another two weeks.
Earlier this month, the club captain aggravated a muscle injury against Manchester United, and Pellegrini has confirmed that the Belgian centre-back isn't guaranteed to return to action before the end of the campaign.
The 61-year-old told reporters: "It's important how Vincent will improve in the next week. I think he'll be missing for at least two weeks more."
Gael Clichy, Samir Nasri and Stevan Jovetic will also be missing for City's fixture against Aston Villa.
