Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has claimed that the club will know the full extent of Fabian Delph's hamstring injury tomorrow.
The summer signing from Aston Villa was stretchered off during the first half of City's 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid in Melbourne on Friday.
The injury has cast doubt over whether Delph will be fit for City's Premier League opener against West Bromwich Albion on August 10.
"Unfortunately, Delph has a problem with his hamstring," Pellegrini is quoted as saying by the club's official website. "We will see tomorrow how bad it is - the plan was for him to play 45."
England international Delph joined City last week for around £8m after previously expressing his commitment to Aston Villa.
