Manchester City star Raheem Sterling has reportedly ramped up his recovery from a groin injury ahead of this weekend's Premier League match against Chelsea.
The former Liverpool player has been on the sidelines since suffering the injury during his side's 1-0 defeat to local rivals Manchester United on March 20.
Sterling missed England's recent international friendlies against Germany and the Netherlands, and there have been concerns that he may not be fit to make Roy Hodgson's Euro 2016 squad.
However, according to The Mirror, the 21-year-old is ahead of schedule and could be included in Manuel Pellegrini's matchday squad for Saturday's trip to Chelsea.
Hodgson will name his 23-man England squad on May 12.
