Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that David Silva will miss the second leg of his side's Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid next week.
The Spaniard was forced off after just 40 minutes in the first leg this evening as City held Madrid to a goalless draw at the Etihad Stadium.
Pellegrini revealed after the match that Silva had sustained a hamstring injury that will keep him out of the return leg at the Bernabeu next Wednesday.
"David Silva has a hamstring injury and will not be fit in one week," he told BT Sport.
Madrid are yet to concede a goal at home in this season's Champions League.
