Sergio Aguero has said that helping Manchester City secure silverware this season is more important than his personal goal target.
The Argentine striker scored 32 goals in all competitions for Manuel Pellegrini's side last season, including 26 in the Premier League which left him as the league's top scorer.
The 27-year-old told the club's website: "The challenge is to aim higher to keep growing. I'm satisfied if any goals I score, whatever the number, helps City win titles.
"I've always prioritised team achievements over personal ones. It's no different in this year. We have set the bar very high and we hope to keep it that way. City must always aim to win as many trophies as possible."
City begin their Premier League campaign with a match against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns tomorrow evening.
