Gareth Barry believes that Manchester City need to "concentrate" on doing their best in the Europa League following their disappointing exit from the Champions League.
The North West side were dumped out of the competition after Napoli secured a win against Villarreal. Despite defeating Bayern Munich 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium, Robert Mancini's side were dependent on the Italian outfit losing against their Spanish opponents.
"It's important to consider it's the first time we've been in the Champions League," Barry told Sky Sports News. "There were some great teams in our league. It was always a tough draw. We got ten points and it wasn't enough.
"We're disappointed with ourselves not to qualify but we've had a quick look at the teams left in the Europa League and even that's going to be tough to get through. So we will concentrate on that."
Man City will be joined by bitter rivals Manchester United in the Europa League following their 2-1 defeat to FC Basel in Switzerland on Wednesday night.
