Carlos Tevez has returned to England this morning as his two-week suspension from Manchester City nears an end.
The 27-year-old was handed the ban and a fine by the club following his alleged refusal to come on as a substitute during City's 2-0 loss to Bayern Munich a fortnight ago.
He was told to stay away from the Etihad Stadium and the club's training ground during that period, and so decided to return to his native Argentina.
Tevez held a meeting with Manchester City officials regarding his situation following his arrival at Heathrow this morning, according to Sky Sports News.
Although the outcome of those discussions is currently unknown, a number of reports have suggested that Tevez will receive a further fine and be made to train with the club's reserves for the foreseeable future.
