Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has hailed teammate Sergio Aguero as one of the best strikers that he has ever worked with.
The Belgian, who became the club's record signing when he joined for £55m from Wolfsburg last August, has found the net 14 times himself in a debut campaign where Aguero has notched 23 goals.
"He's obviously one of the best strikers I've played with," De Bruyne told reporters ahead of City's Champions League encounter with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
"He's a striker who's there in front of the goal. When you don't see him a lot in a game he can pop up and score three. His record speaks for itself. Everyone knows about Sergio.
"You try to learn how he plays so that you can create as many opportunities as possible for him. The more opportunities he has the better it is for our team because he's the guy who scores the most goals. For us he's really important in that way."
Aguero was on target from the penalty spot on Saturday as City defeated West Bromwich Albion at the Etihad to consolidate their hold on fourth spot in the league.
