Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle believes that his side could cause an upset against Manchester City this weekend.
The Midlands club beat City, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea last season, and Doyle has said that his teammates should take confidence from those results.
"Why not go to City and get something?" he said. "Somebody probably will at some stage and they will be on the end of an upset during the season, so why not us?
"People build up teams like Man City, Man United and Chelsea to be unbelievable. Clearly they are very good teams, but they have their off days as well and we have good days.
"We're not going up there thinking it's a write-off. We're going up there thinking we need to play well, and if they don't play brilliant, as they can't really do every week, then who knows?"
Wolves, who were beaten by City in the Carling Cup in midweek, travel to the Etihad Stadium today (Saturday).
