Edin Dzeko believes that he has proven he has the ability to play for Manchester City.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs around Europe due to the Citizens' reported interest in Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.
Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Bayern Munich are all said to be waiting to swoop for the Bosnian should the Dutchman arrive at the Etihad Stadium.
However, Dzeko has insisted that he is happy in Manchester and said that he is proud to have played a part in their Premier League triumph.
"I think I've shown that I can play at Man City and that I deserve to play," Dzeko told Sky Sports News. "I've scored some very important goals.
"I always tried to do my best all season, even when I didn't play. At the end I scored a goal, maybe one of the most important goals in City's history, and I'm so proud of that."
Dzeko left Wolfsburg to join City for a reported £26m fee in 2011.
