Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has given backing to all of his attacking players following a positive start to the season.
The Spaniard has a wealth of options to choose from up front, including Sergio Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, Leroy Sane, Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling.
So far this season, the North-West outfit have scored 29 goals in all competitions, and in each of their last three Premier League matches the team have netted five or more.
"I have a lot of confidence in five or six players," the Manchester Evening News quotes Guardiola as saying. "When playing with Sergio or Gabriel we have a lot of confidence. Bernardo is an extraordinarily good player. A perfect player. I have a lot of confidence in them all. I sleep well in that respect."
During Tuesday night's 2-0 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, Aguero failed to equal Eric Brook's club record of 177 goals when his penalty was saved, but Guardiola says that the feat is inevitable.
"It doesn't matter, the next time he is going to score a goal - that [record] is going to happen. It doesn't matter today or tomorrow. He doesn't need 50 goals to break a record, just one. The moment it happens ask me about it."
City are unbeaten in nine games in all competitions this season.
