Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reportedly been offered the opportunity to become the next manager of Brazil.

Guardiola is currently nearing the end of his sixth campaign at the Etihad Stadium, the longest stint of his managerial career.

The legendary Spaniard is yet to extend his contract past the end of the 2022-23 campaign, leaving the 51-year-old in a position where he can contemplate a new challenge in the future.

According to Marca, the CBF have taken note of the situation and have enquired whether Guardiola would be open to replacing Tite in 2023.

With the current incumbent expected to leave after the World Cup later this year, it is claimed that Guardiola has been offered a contract worth £10m per year.

Guardiola is known to have a desire to become an international manager in the future, although it is unclear how long he sees himself spending in club football before taking that step. body check tags ::
