Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has praised Gabriel Jesus for going an entire calendar year unbeaten.
The 20-year-old's undefeated run began last October while he was still playing for Brazilian side Palmeiras and, following his move to City in January, the side have failed to lose whenever he has played.
Jesus has also been undefeated while playing for the Brazil national side and, having turned out in City's 3-2 win at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, the youngster extended his streak past the 12-month milestone.
"It's amazing. It's really incredible," Guardiola told The Telegraph of the feat. "One year is a lot of games, for the national team, for Palmeiras and here with no defeats.
"It's really good. He's a guy who helps us a lot with pressing, he's so intensive on the second balls, and centre balls. He's a real good guy."
Jesus has notched up six goals in nine Premier League appearances for Guardiola's side so far this term.
