Manchester City winger Jesus Navas has admitted that he is relishing the prospect of facing former club Sevilla in an upcoming Champions League clash.
Next Wednesday's Group D encounter at Eastlands promises to be a sentimental night for the 29-year-old, who left the Rojiblancos in 2013 after 13 years of service.
Despite retaining an affection for his boyhood club, the Spain international insists that he will shelve personal feelings for the visit of Unai Emery's men.
"Sevilla is everything to me in sporting terms," Navas is quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News.
"It is where I was born and grew up as a player, but now I can only think of Manchester.
"They took a gamble on me and I always want to justify that. Their deal with me is wonderful and I only have good words for the club."
City sit third in the group, level on points with second-placed Sevilla.
