Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic has vowed to "show much more" to the club's fans after 'settling' into the team.
The 23-year-old fell down the pecking order following his arrival at the Etihad Stadium in the summer due to minor injuries.
However, the former Fiorentina forward managed to get on the scoresheet twice in City's 5-0 win over Wigan Athletic in the Capital One Cup third round this week.
"It was difficult for me because I was the last to come here, and I was injured, so when they played the first games, I was doing preparation," the Manchester Evening News quotes Jovetic as saying.
"Now I am much better and I hope that by playing more I will show much more. I feel settled here now. I was accepted from my first day."
Jovetic will have to battle Edin Dzeko, Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo for a place up top in Manuel Pellegrini's team.
