Manchester City have decided to hand Kolo Toure a six-week fine after the centre-back failed a drugs test.
The 30-year-old was suspended for six months earlier this year having tested positive for a banned substance in March.
At the time, Toure claimed that the drug was included in his wife's dieting pills which he had taken.
The Premier League leaders decided to conduct their own internal hearing into the matter last week and concluded that a fine was sufficient punishment.
The Ivorian has decided to accept his club's decision, according to Sky Sports News.
