Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has suggested that the North-West side will place the Champions League as a higher priority than the Premier League.
The blue half of Manchester, who clinched the English title in dramatic fashion on the final day of the campaign, failed to make it out of the group stage in the European competition last season.
"We had 10 points last season and we should have come through," Kompany told Sky Sports News.
"But we have a team that is probably stronger and for us the Champions League is massive, also the Premier League but we want to do better."
Meanwhile, City prepare to take on Stoke City this weekend.
