Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has tipped Mark Hughes to reverse the current run of form that has led to his Queens Park Rangers side dropping to the bottom of the Premier League.
The R's are without a win so far this season and as a result Hughes's future at Loftus Road is said to be uncertain.
However, Kompany, who worked with Hughes at Man City, feels that his former manager can turn the tide if he is given the time.
"I can only speak for what I saw but Mark is a great manager. He is someone who can bring the team to the next level but with the time he needs, he is capable of doing the job," Kompany said on Match of the Day.
Hughes took charge of QPR in January of this year.
