Manchester City are close to signing Real Madrid's 15-year-old striker Jose Angel Pozo.
The Spaniard's parents have recently been in Manchester and they are believed to have been looking at houses and schools in the area ahead of the proposed move in January.
Pozo has been promised reserve-team football within a year at Manchester City and the transfer is believed to be close to completion.
Due to Pozo's age, Roberto Mancini's side are not required to pay a transfer fee but have chosen to offer Real Madrid £100,000 as a goodwill gesture.
Chelsea and Liverpool have also been interested in the youngster but City have moved quickly to force a deal after Pozo was recommended by the club's football development executive Patrick Vieira.
