Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has claimed that his side's poor finishing in front of goal has cost them points in the Premier League title race.
The champions are currently 12 points behind leaders Manchester United following Monday's 1-0 win over Aston Villa.
"It has been our problem this year and has cost us points," Mancini told reporters.
"We have a lot of chances in every game that we are missing. This is the difference at this moment."
City return to FA Cup action on Saturday when they take on Barnsley in the quarter-finals at the Etihad Stadium.
