Manchester City midfielder James Milner has admitted that his side's away form has been disappointing this season.
Manuel Pellegrini's side could not build on their midweek win over West Bromwich Albion and had to settle for a 1-1 draw away at Southampton on Saturday.
"You can think of at least three of the games we've lost where we've played really well, dominated the game and come away with nothing," he told City's official club website.
"We weren't quite at our best and they probably had the better of the game but we've come away with a point.
"It's disappointing. These are the games we want to be winning but it's better than coming away with nothing."
City sit in fourth place in the Premier League, five points behind leaders Arsenal.
