Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that the injury sustained by Sergio Aguero in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace is concerning him after the Argentina striker had to be withdrawn in the first half.
Aguero was replaced by Kevin de Bruyne after just 24 minutes after a heavy challenge from Scott Dann before Kelechi Iheanacho's goal secured all three points for City in injury time.
Pellegrini said that he thought that Dann should have seen red for the tackle rather than just being booked, and admits that he does not know how soon Aguero will recover.
"Sergio could not move the leg," he told reporters. "I thought it was directly a red card but the referee thought otherwise.
"I hope he can recover in the next 48 hours."
Manchester City face Juventus at home in their first Champions League group stage game on Tuesday night.
