Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that he is wary of the impact that Remi Garde's arrival will have on Aston Villa this weekend.
The Midlands outfit appointed the former Arsenal player on Monday following the sacking of Tim Sherwood.
Villa have lost their last seven Premier League games in a row, but Pellegrini believes that the team will be boosted by Garde's arrival.
"There are no easy games in the Premier League," Pellegrini told reporters in today's press conference. "Villa have a new manager and the motivation not to be relegated.
"When you have a new manager, you have a reaction. He is a young but experienced manager who was at an important club, Lyon."
City are unbeaten in their last four league fixtures.
