Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has been nominated for the first Premier League Manager of the Month award this season after leading his side to a perfect record in August.
City won all four games last month, including a 3-0 home win against champions Chelsea, scoring 10 and conceding none to lead the way by three points.
In second place are Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace and the Eagles manager is also up for last month's award thanks to three wins in four games, one of which was also a victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
A point behind Palace are unbeaten duo Leicester City and Swansea City, and the shortlist is completed by Claudio Ranieri and Garry Monk.
Ranieri's Foxes started with back-to-back wins before preserving their unbeaten record with consecutive 1-1 draws against Tottenham Hotspur and Bournemouth.
Swansea have started impressively and taken half of their points against powerhouses Chelsea and Manchester United, beating the latter 2-1 before the international break to move into the top four.
The winner will be announced tomorrow.
