Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has insisted that he has no concerns over Vincent Kompany's recent inconsistency.
The 28-year-old has faced criticism this season, and spent a stint out of the team last month following numerous indifferent performances.
Kompany was also sent off in Tuesday's 1-0 win for Belgium over Israel in their Euro 2016 qualifier.
"I don't worry about Vincent because I know him," Pellegrini said in this afternoon's press conference. "He knows perfectly in the way he must play.
"I don't know about the sending-off because I didn't see it but I think he improved a lot with our team in the last game so I don't worry about him. There are not any problems."
City are currently six points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.
