Manuel Pellegrini has urged his Manchester City side to remain focused when they play Aston Villa this evening.
Pellegrini takes his charges to Villa Park aiming to close the gap on Chelsea at the top of the Premier League to two points.
"I think we need to keep our concentration and play with high intensity for 95 minutes," he told Sky Sports News.
"Of course, the most important thing is to win. We scored lots of goals last year, but we are not scoring so much now, so it is important to defend well and we hope that we will do it here again."
City's last outing in the league was their 4-2 win against Hull City last week.
