Manchester City are interested in Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, according to reports.
The Citizens face the prospect of not winning a trophy this season if they fail to win the Champions League, and current boss Manuel Pellegrini is said to be under pressure to keep his job for next season.
The Daily Mail claims that, should City get rid of Pellegrini, they could target Simeone, who steered his side to the La Liga title and Champions League final last season.
Pellegrini won the Premier League and League Cup last season, but his side currently trail Chelsea by seven points in the Premier League table.
City travel to play Stoke City tomorrow.
