Manchester City are reportedly on the verge of offering goalkeeper Joe Hart a new five-year contract worth £29m.
The 27-year-old is currently in Brazil with the England squad and played during his country's 2-1 defeat to Italy on Saturday.
According to the Daily Star, City are keen to prevent Hart from seeing out his contract, which has two years left to run.
He is currently paid £70,000 a week by the Premier League champions, but it is believed that he has been offered improved terms of £110,000 a week to keep him at the Etihad.
The report goes on to say that the club are looking to sign a back-up keeper to Hart following the release of Costel Pantilimon, with Willy Caballero said to be on their wanted list.
