Manchester City midfielder Jack Rodwell believes that the club will bounce back from their setbacks this season with a strong campaign next year.
City ended the season without winning any silverware which cost manager Roberto Mancini his job as he was sacked a day after losing the FA Cup final to Wigan Athletic.
"The lads are disappointed with the result be we are all focused now for next season," Rodwell told the club's official website.
"Next season will be a big season for us and there will be a few changes.
"I've missed a lot of games this season. It's hard for me to come back and just feel 100%. I feel like I need games, back-to-back games. I'm sure that'll bring the best out of me."
Rodwell finished the season on a high after enduring a difficult first year at the club, as he scored twice in his side's 3-2 defeat to Norwich City.
