Manchester City winger Leroy Sane has labelled coach Pep Guardiola "the best in the world" after the 22-year-old claimed the PFA Young Player of the Year award on Sunday.
Sane has been a key member of Guardiola's Premier League-winning squad this campaign and the youngster has since moved to state that his improvements as a player have come as a result of his working relationship with the Spanish coach.
"He is, for me, the best coach in the world," said Sane, according to Sky Sports News. "Everyone can see that we've improved a lot and have taken the next step.
"He always tries to get the best and show us the way to play good football."
Sane's City side claimed the top-flight crown this term with five league games to spare as they dethroned Chelsea and made light work of Manchester United's resistance at the top.
