England boss Gareth Southgate is reportedly considering Phil Foden for a call-up to the Three Lions squad.
Southgate has just guided England to the semi-finals of the World Cup, and the 47-year-old will select his first group of players since the tournament in Russia next week as England face Spain and Switzerland in September.
According to The Sun, Foden could be handed a surprise call-up, with the 18-year-old already making an impression in Manchester City's first-team squad.
Foden only turned 18 years of age in May, but the playmaker has already made four starts and eight substitute appearances under Pep Guardiola.
The report suggests that Foden is unlikely to be given any playing time next month, but Southgate is said to be keen to see how the teenager handles the step up to the senior ranks.
