Carlos Tevez has accepted Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella's decision not to call him up for their 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay and Peru this month.
The Manchester City striker has not been called up for national team duty since his fall-out with Citizens manager Roberto Mancini in September last year.
"It's no drama [for me] to sit on the bench but we have to let Sabella work calmly, not with the pressure of calling me up and having to put me on the bench," said Tevez on Monday.
"It's not important whether Tevez is there on not, but for the national team to play well. Today, 'Pipita' (Gonzalo Higuain), 'Kun' (Sergio Aguero) and Leo (Lionel Messi) are playing brilliantly and that's what matters."
Aguero is currently back in Buenos Aires for a mini break.
