Yaya Toure has admitted that he was "happy" to have scored both goals in Manchester City's 2-0 victory over Newcastle United earlier today.
The result has left the Citizens within touching distance of securing their first league title since 1968.
"I am very happy, it is the first time I have scored two goals in one game in my career," he told BBC Sport. "I am happy with my performance and the performance of the team.
"We have to be careful, it is not over. QPR are fighting for relegation and that will not be easy. But we are at home, that will give us the advantage.
"It is unbelievable for the fans. I have won some big trophies in my career but it is never easy to deliver the title after a long time. It is not over yet."
Toure joined City in 2010 from Barcelona.
