Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City make two and three changes respectively for Sunday's Premier League clash at Molineux.

Both Gary O'Neil and Pep Guardiola have had more than two weeks to reflect on their previous performances and contemplate how to line up in the West Midlands.

O'Neil has opted to switched to a back three on the back of conceding five times at Brentford, Santiago Bueno being drafted into the team as a replacement for Carlos Forbs.

However, the surprise comes through goalkeeper Jose Sa returning to the starting lineup at the expense of Sam Johnstone, who does not feature in the squad.

There is a midfield three of Joao Gomes, Mario Lemina and Andre, with O'Neil opting for a central-attacking two of Matheus Cunha and Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Guardiola makes three changes to City side, Ake returns to squad

As he hinted on Friday, Guardiola has not selected Nathan Ake in his starting lineup on the back of the Netherlands international only recently returning to training after over a month on the sidelines.

Nevertheless, the Spaniard has still made as many as three alterations, choosing to replace Manuel Akanji with John Stones in the centre of the defence.

Savinho and Jeremy Doku are the other two players to come into the team at the expense of Phil Foden and Jack Grealish.

Former Wolves midfielder Matheus Nunes is named on the substitutes' bench, as is youngster Nico O'Reilly who will be hoping to make his Premier League debut in the second half.

Wolverhampton Wanderers XI: Sa; Bueno, Dawson, Toti; Semedo, J. Gomes, Lemina, Andre, Ait-Nouri; Cunha, Strand Larsen

Subs: Bentley, Doherty, R. Gomes, Doyle, Sarabia, Forbs, Bellegarde, Guedes, Lima

Manchester City XI: Ederson; Lewis, Stones, Dias, Gvardiol; Kovacic, Gundogan, Bernardo; Savinho, Haaland, Doku
