AC Milan to rival Inter Miami for Manchester City midfielder David Silva?

:Headline: AC Milan to rival Inter Miami for Manchester City midfielder David Silva?:
AC Milan are reportedly contemplating an approach for Manchester City playmaker David Silva, who will leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.

Manchester City playmaker David Silva has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for AC Milan.

At the end of the season, Silva will bring his decade-long stay at the Etihad Stadium to an end having opted to look for a new challenge.

While a return to Spain is a possibility, Inter Miami are said to have already held discussions with the veteran's representatives.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan are weighing up the possibility of launching a bid for the midfielder.

With a view to improving their FFP standing, Milan are expected to make a number of changes to their squad at the next opportunity.

Although Silva will command a lucrative contract, the Italian giants may be tempted to sign a high-profile player on a free transfer.
