Manchester City have announced that forward Sergio Aguero has signed a new contract at the Etihad Stadium.
Aguero has spent the last seven years with the Premier League champions, with a return of 204 goals in 299 appearances an all-time record for the club.
The 30-year-old has previously suggested that he plans to spend the closing years of his career back in Argentina, but the club have revealed that one of their star men has now extended his deal until 2021.
Aguero has only failed to score at least 28 goals in a season on one occasion, while the South American has started the current campaign with five strikes from seven outings.
City shelled out a reported £38m when signing Aguero from Atletico Madrid in 2011.
