Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig playmaker Dani Olmo this summer.
The 23-year-old has endured a frustrating injury-hit 2021-22 campaign, but he has still managed to score three goals and provide five assists in 18 games across all competitions.
Olmo began his career in Barcelona's famous La Masia academy before joining Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb in 2014.
According to talkSPORT, Barca have held an interest in re-signing Olmo for some time and they are keen to negotiate a £40m deal with Leipzig this summer.
The report adds that fringe players including Martin Braithwaite and Luuk de Jong are set to leave the club, which would help free up funds to spend on summer targets such as Olmo.
In addition, the potential arrival of the Spain international will likely depend on whether Ousmane Dembele decides to extend his contract at Camp Nou, with his current deal expiring in June.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is also believed to be interested in the versatile midfielder, who is under contract at Leipzig until June 2024.
