Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova has reportedly identified Kolo Toure as an ideal candidate to provide defensive cover for his squad.
Manchester City's Toure has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Premier League champions this summer, having fallen behind Joleon Lescott and Vincent Kompany in the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium.
Vilanova is believed to have compiled a list of versatile players that interest him, with Toure being included in the search, according to The Mirror.
Toure's representatives are rumoured to be looking for a new club for their client after the 31-year-old only made 13 league appearances last campaign.
The Ivory Coast international is also believed to be a target for Turkish club Bursaspor.
